Holiday Fig & Vanilla Crostini
Ingredients:
- 1 baguette, sliced into 1/2-inch thick pieces
- 3 tbsp Vanilla EVOO
- 1 cup ricotta cheese (or cream cheese for a richer option)
- 2 tbsp Fig Balsamic
- Fresh thyme leaves or chopped fresh rosemary (optional, for garnish)
- 1/4 cup crushed walnuts or pecans (optional, for crunch)
- Pinch of sea salt
Instructions:

Prepare the Baguette:
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Arrange the baguette slices on a baking sheet.
- Brush each slice lightly with Vanilla EVOO on both sides.

Toast the Crostini:
- Bake the baguette slices for 8-10 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden and crispy.
- Remove from the oven and let cool slightly.

Assemble the Crostini:
- Spread a generous layer of ricotta cheese (blended with vanilla evoo) on each toasted slice.
- Drizzle with Fig Balsamic for a touch of sweetness.
